try it in a different PCI slot maybe? I know sometimes IRQ conflicts can cause drivers to install incorrectly. I had some driver install issues with a wireless card I put in my sis's PC that were solved by moving it to a different slot [confused]... _________________

In situations like this, I find the best course of action is to just get the largest hammer you have in your garage and just place it near your computer. Don't do anything with it, just have it there to threaten you machine and let it know you mean business.
Oddly enough, it has actually worked for me a couple times |

I think My hammer would break my desk... then the computer... without me touching it... _________________

<Shendal> By far, that's the best one-act IRC play I've read this season. Do I smell a Tony award?

Don't Buy Creative. It's shit. PVA Tech put out a good benchmark. It's a bit old, but sound cards aren't exactly a changing market like video cards. (Though, at about $1000 the top one listed is probably a bit out of your price range.) _________________
